Trump Commutes George Santos' Prison Sentence
President Donald Trump announced on social media that he is commuting the prison sentence of former Congressman George Santos.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump explained his decision, citing the case of Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal, who falsely claimed to be a Vietnam veteran.
George has been in solitary confinement for long stretches of time and, by all accounts, has been horribly mistreated.
Trump compared Santos' situation to Blumenthal's, stating that Santos "had the Courage, Conviction, and Intelligence to ALWAYS VOTE REPUBLICAN!"
