Gamers are outraged over an alleged rip-off of Animal Crossing, called Anime Village Online.
Some assumed PlayStation was involved, but it appears the developer made the game entirely from bought assets, and utilized AI-generated art for it and other titles.
The game was noticed around October 6th to 8th, with discussion on X and Reddit turning negative, even after being removed by moderators on r/PlayStation.
