I-96 Reopened After Multiple Crashes
A vehicle traveling eastbound on I-96 struck a semi-truck, causing it to hit the concrete barrier, which then pushed into westbound traffic.
According to Rene Gonzalez, preliminary information indicates that the incident involved a vehicle either pushing or striking a semi-truck, leading to the closure of both sides of the freeway.
MDOT was pretty close by and responded quickly on scene; and was able to put everything back into place.
