Daniel Day-Lewis stars in the film, which is directed by his son, Ronan Day-Lewis. The duo also co-wrote the screenplay, making "Anemone" Ronan's debut as a director and screenwriter.
He may be a better director (and screenwriter) in time.
The Plot
The movie is set in England in the 1980s and follows the story of Ray Stoker, a hermit living in a forest, whose brother Jem attempts to reconnect with him. However, the plot reveals itself slowly, with the first 45 minutes of the 2-hour film being relatively plot-less.
