John Boy & Billy Retire Radio Show After 45 Years
The Big Show with John Boy & Billy, a tradition for North Carolinians, will stop at the end of the year.
Launched in 1980, the show entertained listeners during their morning drive. John Boy Isley and Billy James made the surprise announcement on WSFL 106.5 FM.
"The Big Show will be retiring at the end of the year. I want to thank all the stations that are still carrying us, and I invite you to follow the John Boy & Billy Facebook page,"
Co-host Isley said. Although they are wrapping up their radio presence, they will be active on other platforms, such as Facebook.
