Jason Carter Endorses Jason Esteves for Governor
Former State Senator Jason Carter, grandson of President Jimmy Carter, has endorsed Jason Esteves in his campaign for Georgia governor.
"I’m proud to endorse Jason Esteves to be our next governor — the strongest candidate to meet this moment and build the coalition Democrats need to win next year," said Carter. "He’s the new generation of leadership that Georgia needs, and he still has a long record of fighting for our families."
Esteves accepted Carter's endorsement, released in a statement on Wednesday.
