The Colorado Springs City Council has approved a resolution honoring the U.S. Senate's designation of October 14, 2025, as the National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk is a conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA.
Councilor Brandy Williams compared the assassination of Kirk to President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr.
