The incident occurred when the victim, who was out for a walk around midnight in the area of Woodlawn Road and Clare Avenue, approached a man and asked him a question. The man, unknown to her, then assaulted her and attempted to drag her into a nearby wooded area.
The woman managed to access her phone, which prompted the suspect to stop the assault, allowing her to escape. The suspect is described as being of Middle Eastern descent and speaking with a heavy accent.
