A Pregnant Amazon Employee's Struggle
A 20-year-old Amazon employee, Genesis, faced difficulties at work after becoming pregnant in 2024.
Genesis, a "stower" at an Amazon warehouse in Southern California, requested accommodations due to her pregnancy, including regular breaks, limited bending and twisting, and lifting no more than 20 pounds.

Despite providing a doctor's note, Genesis claims her manager wrote her up for sitting down and taking breaks, which she needed due to a medical condition that made her prone to fainting.
