College Strike a Symptom of a Larger Issue
Ontario Liberal Party critic for labour and education, John Fraser, met with union leaders in Thunder Bay on Tuesday.
Fraser discussed the ongoing support staff strike at Ontario's colleges, including Confederation College, stating:
"This thing that we built, the college system, is being allowed to wither,"
"The strike is just symptomatic of that."
The strike, involving members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, has been ongoing for almost a month.
