US Nuclear Venture to Power Space Missions
A partnership between Space Ocean Corporation and Space Nuclear Power Corporation (SpaceNukes) aims to integrate a 10 kW microreactor into future deep-space missions.
Space Ocean has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with SpaceNukes to test the microreactor aboard its planned ALV-N satellite.
The partnership will test a 10 kW reactor aboard Space Ocean’s planned ALV-N satellite and could position SpaceNukes as a core power supplier for lunar and planetary operations.
