Two Classic Stephen King Novels Get Standalone Hardcover Editions
Stephen King, under the pseudonym Richard Bachman, published two notable novels: The Long Walk and The Running Man.
With roughly 65 novels, a dozen short story collections, and several nonfiction books, King's works often start as hardcover bestsellers before being reissued in paperback.
Until now, some of his novels, including The Long Walk and The Running Man, were missing in hardcover for dedicated fans.
Scribner, King's publisher, has released standalone hardcover editions of these two classics, filling the gap for constant readers.
Most of his novels have been reissued countless times in paperback, but they almost always begin their rapid climb up the bestseller charts in hardcover.
