Despite a ceasefire, Israeli airstrikes killed 1 and injured 7 in Lebanon, according to Ya Libnan.
Lebanese President Aoun announced plans to increase the number of troops deployed south of the Litani River to 10,000 by the end of 2025.
- 12 Israeli airstrikes were launched in southern and eastern Lebanon.
- Targets included the towns of Bnaafoul, Khirbet Dweir, Roumine, Houmine, Blida, Sidon, Marjayoun, Bint Jbeil, and Baalbek.
Israeli fighter jets and a drone were used in the attacks, which occurred despite a ceasefire deal in place since November 2024.
