Mondi Introduces Eco-Friendly Banana Box
Mondi has unveiled a new banana box packaging design made with 40% recycled fibre, reducing weight by up to 10% compared to conventional boxes.
The project was a collaboration between Mondi, Ecuadorian banana exporter Incarpalm, trading partner Europcell, and a European importer, aiming to minimize the environmental impact of traditional banana boxes without compromising performance.
The packaging maintains durability while being more eco-friendly.
