Restoring Christ the King to Overcome Divided Lives

To help the faithful overcome a divided approach to faith, the church can restore the feast of Christ the King to its original date, the last Sunday of October, before All Saints.

Pope Leo XIII urged the faithful, especially those in public life, not to live "divided lives," where faith is compartmentalized or excluded from shaping life areas.

faith is not a private hobby; it is the foundation by which we order our actions, relationships, and society itself.

Originally, Pope Pius XI instituted the feast in 1925 as a response to growing secularism and nationalism.
