Cinema is like a talk show, but noble - and less violent
Milani's film, 'La Vita Va Così', opened the Rome Film Festival. When asked about the film's production, he explained that he worked with producer Mario Gianini, with whom he shares a passion for creating entertaining and thought-provoking films.
- The film's screenplay was written with Michele Astori, starting in early 2024.
- The team traveled to Sardinia for location scouting and to find the right actor to play the shepherd.
- Principal photography took place from February to April 2025, primarily in Sardinia.
Milani noted that one of the surprises during filming was the ease with which Giuseppe Ignazio Loi, the shepherd, adapted to the filming process, despite having no prior experience.
