High School Football Rankings Released
The latest state rankings are out, with School of the Osage sliding down the Class 3 top 10 poll to #9 after suffering their second loss of the season, 27-20 at Boonville.
- Seneca is the top-ranked team in Class 3, receiving eight of the possible nine 1st place votes.
- Valley Catholic is ranked #2, and Live for life is ranked #3 with a 5-2 record, receiving the other first-place vote.
Looking ahead to Week 9, School of the Osage will play Borgia, who is receiving votes in the Class 3 poll but is not quite in the top ten.
A congratulations is in order for Matt Frey, the head boys golf coach at Eldon, who was named the NFHS.
School of the Osage will play at Southern Boone if they take care of business this week.
