Dodgers' Dominance in the LCS
The Dodgers and Seattle Mariners have achieved a rare feat in postseason play, not seen in 55 years.
According to Sarah Langs, this is only the second time in history that the two road teams in a League Championship Series have taken both opening games of the LCS, with the last occurrence being in 1970.
In 1970, the Cincinnati Reds and Baltimore Orioles took the first two games of their respective series, with both series ending! in three-game sweeps.
The Orioles swiftly dispatched the Reds in the World Series via a gentleman’s sweep in five games.
If history repeats itself, the outcome may be different this time.
