New images from the James Webb telescope reveal previously unseen details of the gigantic jets shooting out of the famous black hole M87*.
- The jet is catapulting through space at almost the speed of light.
- The massive counter-jet is ricocheting through space in the opposite direction.
- The black hole is located 54 million light-years from Earth at the center of the galaxy Messier 87 (M87).
