Two hikers were seriously injured after a grizzly bear attack near Prince George on Sunday.
The incident occurred on Farm Cabin Trail near the Pass Lake forest service road in the McGregor Mountain area.
The grizzly made the attack in a defensive manner, as it was protecting its two cubs.
This is the third grizzly attack in B.C. over the past few weeks, according to the Conservation Officer Service.
