Grizzly Attack Near Prince George
Two hikers were seriously injured after a grizzly bear attack near Prince George on Sunday.
The incident occurred on Farm Cabin Trail near the Pass Lake forest service road in the McGregor Mountain area.
- Both hikers were taken to hospital and remain in stable condition.
- The Conservation Officer Service's predator attack team determined the attack was defensive.
The grizzly made the attack in a defensive manner, as it was protecting its two cubs.
This is the third grizzly attack in B.C. over the past few weeks, according to the Conservation Officer Service.
