Uzbekistan Invests $100 Million to Boost AI Sector
The Uzbek government is investing $100 million to develop its AI sector, focusing on data centers, training programs, and partnerships with tech giants and universities.
A large chunk of the government funding is intended for initiatives to attract foreign investors to construct data centers in Karakalpakstan, an autonomous region in western Uzbekistan, according to Digital Technologies Minister Sherzod Shermatov.
