Prehistoric Hunting Traps Uncovered in Europe
Archaeologists have discovered four large, funnel-like hunting traps on the Karst Plateau, located on the border of Slovenia and Italy.
The traps, made up of stone walls leading to an enclosed pit, were identified through airborne laser scanning surveys conducted by researchers from the University of Ljubljana and the Institute for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage of Slovenia.
