Vikings’ QB and Coach Closing in on Milestones
Warren Central will face Greenville on Friday in its homecoming football game at Viking Stadium. The Vikings are trying to focus on staying on course for another region championship amidst distractions.
“You’ve got to keep plugging, you’ve got to keep winning, you’ve got to keep getting better and improving,”
said Warren Central coach Josh Morgan. The Vikings (4-2, 1-0 MHSAA Region 2-6A) host Greenville (4-2, 0-1) as they try to juggle it all.
The Hornets are having their best season in years, with four wins matching the program’s highest total since 2002. They haven’t made the playoffs since 2001, but can take a big step toward ending that drought with an upset Friday.
