Sebastian Park Upgrade
The City of Tracy, along with the Parks Committee, is improving Sebastian Park with a new playground.
A $30,000 Taylor Family Farms Foundation grant and special discounts will be used to purchase a Juniper Play Structure playground, valued at $69,163, at 50% off.
Initially, the plan was to repair the existing play structure, but high costs and ongoing maintenance led to the decision to replace it instead.
The new playground at Central Park had just opened two months prior to this decision.
