Palestinian Human Rights Attorney Describes Israeli Detainment
A Metro Detroit woman and human rights attorney, Huwaida Arraf, has returned from the Middle East after her boat, bound for Gaza, was seized by Israeli military forces.
Arraf was on board a Gaza-bound aid ship when Israel intercepted the vessel, holding those on board in captivity.
It's not time to let up
Upon her arrival at Detroit Metro Airport, Arraf was met by her kids for the first time since her detainment. Despite her recent experience, she appeared ready to journey back to the Middle East, indicating her mission was far from over.
Approximately 30 family members gathered at the airport to welcome Arraf back to Michigan.
