Fire Quickly Contained at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church
Firefighters responded to a blaze at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church after the church's alarm system was triggered.
According to the Cobb County Fire Department, crews arrived and quickly brought the fire under control, with no injuries reported.
- No other buildings on the campus were affected.
- The fire began shortly before 9 p.m. and was contained to the chapel area.
"We are incredibly grateful for the quick and skilled response of the Cobb County Fire Department and the Cobb County Police," said Senior Pastor Clay Smith. "Their professionalism and swift action kept everyone safe and contained the damage to the chapel.
