A tentative agreement has been reached between college support workers and the province, ending the strike.
About 10,000 full-time support workers at 24 colleges across the province went on strike in September.
Picket lines at Algonquin College and La Cité were lifted on Wednesday after the College Employer Council (CEC) and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) reached the agreement.
Details of the settlement will be outlined to striking support workers on Wednesday afternoon, and they are expected to return to work on Thursday.
The deal will be up for ratification in November, but details of the agreement have not been released.
No comment from the parties involved.
